Story of Sri Rama Navami

Sri Rama Navami marks the divine birth of Lord Sri Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who took birth to destroy evil and establish dharma on earth. According to the Ramayana, King Dasharatha of Ayodhya performed the Putrakameshti Yagna to be blessed with children. As a result, Lord Vishnu incarnated as Rama, born to Queen Kausalya on the ninth day (Navami) of Chaitra month.
Lord Rama is known as Maryada Purushottama, the ideal man who followed truth, righteousness, and duty throughout his life. His life teaches the importance of dharma, devotion, patience, and compassion.

Significance of Sri Rama Navami
