By doing this Vratam, Lord Venkateshwara will protect devotees from all sorts of calamities. Number seven means seven hills of Venkateshwara that will provide protection from all the sides.

Devotees chant Lord Venkateshwara’s mantras during the puja and fasting process which are as follows:
“Om Namo Venkatesaaya Kaamitaartha Pradhaayine Pranatah Klesa Naasaaya Govindaaya Namo Namaha”
“Om Shri Venkateshwaraye Namah”
Lord Venkateshwara’s Moola Mantra are as follows:
“Om Namo Venkatesaaya Namaha!
Om Namo Srinivasaya Namaha!!”
By chanting the mantras, we get rid of all the negative energy and surround ourselves with positive energy.There is no specific time or place to recite the mantras, but the most important rule while chanting the mantras is to chant them with full devotion and faith then you can see result on your own.

ऊँ नमो वेङ्कटेशाय कामितार्थ प्रदायिने प्रणतः क्लेशनाशाय गोविन्दाय नमो नमः
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
नारायणं परब्रह्म सर्वकारण कारकं
प्रपद्ये वेङ्कटेशाख्यां तदेव कवचं मम
रसहस्रशीर्षा पुरुषो वेङ्कटेशश्शिरो वतु
प्राणेशः प्राणनिलयः प्राणाण् रक्षतु मे हरिः
आकाशराट् सुतानाथ आत्मानं मे सदावतु
देवदेवोत्तमोपायाद्देहं मे वेङ्कटेश्वरः
सर्वत्र सर्वकालेषु मङ्गाम्बाजानिश्वरः
पालयेन्मां सदा कर्मसाफल्यं नः प्रयच्छतु
य एतद्वज्रकवचमभेद्यं वेङ्कटेशितुः
सायं प्रातः पठेन्नित्यं मृत्युं तरति निर्भयः
इति श्री वेङ्कटेस्वर वज्रकवचस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम् ॥
